Ballarat Red Devils NPL Trials for 2017 Season

The Ballarat Red Devils’ are now taking Expressions of Interests for the 2017 NPL Victoria season for their junior age groups for players and coaches.

Trials Start on October 29th!

Nathan Kaspers (from Hamilton U16 in 2015) played this year for Ballarat in NPL U18 League and the Kaspers family are more than happy to discuss any queries you may have regarding the commitment involved in NPL. Through 2016 there was 2 training sessions per week in Ballarat and matches alternate – 1 week Ballarat, the following week in Melbourne (1 in Bendigo) so every 2nd week is an away game.  Ballarat participate in the Western division of NPL Juniors so matches are this side of Melbourne.

South West Games Warrnambool – Junior/Women/Men

This competition is a 7-aside single day competition that will occur on Saturday 5th November from 10am at Harris St Reserve.

Teams are of 7-10 players and the cost is $15/player for a team of 10 entry.

Subject to numbers our club will be looking to enter 1 team per age group. You have to be HSC registered to participate to cover insurance.

Could you please send me your expression of interest (including preferred age group) by the Friday 14th October.

Also for those that are interested we will organise some training sessions before the competition. Dates/time to be advised.

2016 End of year Presentation Dinner

This will be held at Alexandra House, Thursday 13th October 2016 commencing at 6.30pm.
The cost is $22 for a two course meal with drinks at bar prices.

During the Presentation Night we will be holding our AGM.
Attached is the Hamilton Soccer Club Committee Nomination Form.
A number of positions, including President, will be vacant this year.

All Hamilton Soccer Club Matches this Sunday 8th May have been moved to Warrnambool

Please note that due to continuing ground works at Pedrina Park all games for this Sunday 8th May in the WDSL have been moved to Harris Street Reserve, Warrnambool.
This means that all games including the under 13s (11:15am kick off), under 16s (1:00pm kick off) and Seniors (3.00pm kick off) will take place in Warrnambool.
We understand that this places a strain on all our members participating in the WDSL but for safety reasons and playing conditions the switch was unavoidable and we are sorry for the inconvenience. We also understand this Sunday is Mother’s day and that some players may become unavailable as a result. Could you please contact your coach if you will be unavailable for the match this Sunday.
For those that are able to play please arrive 30 minutes before kick off to get ready.
We are liaising with council to try to get the ground works completed as soon as possible and hope that the next home game will be able to take place at Pedrina Park.
If there are any concerns or questions please contact me or Julie Pickering. Otherwise I hope to see all juniors at training on Saturday morning at 9.30am at Pedrina Park.

Training and trials for BOYS FC & Academy [Boys & Girls]

Training and trials for BOYS FC will commence in conjunction with academy trials beginning this Wednesday the 13th of January.

The tournament itself will be held in Bendigo on the 19th and 20th of March.

WE HOPE TO SEND 4 TEAMS THIS YEAR WITH PLAYERS ELIGIBLE FOR SELECTION BORN: 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005

Players eligibility to play for S.W.V.F. is based upon residential address, not club, nor location of club or level of competition.

Currently known times and locations have been listed in the attached calender’s. Links to clearer PDF versions will be posted soon.

Registration forms for both the academy and the representative squads for 2016 will be posted shortly.

Players will need to wear appropriate footwear.

We strongly encourage football cleats.

We also strongly encourage players bring appropriate hydration.

All players are required to wear shin pads, and socks that cover such. There will not be any equipment for players to borrow.

All players must be signed in and out by an adult whom shall remain responsible for that player until the completion of the training session/trial. Parents are required to arrive 10 minutes before the completion the training/trial session in order to safely pick the players up on time.

Players whom do not abide by these rules, inclusive of being signed in and out will NOT be permitted to trial/train.

A short speech in which any pending questions will be best addressed, will be held at the completion of the session for all interested.
